The EU Public Health Information & Knowledge System www.euphix.org brings together public health knowledges from a variety of European projects and other research. It facilitates the sharing of knowledge and good practice between EU countries and serves as an easy-to-use tool for health professionals, policy makers and others. EUPHIX contains a broad body of scientific knowledge and data covering:
- the status of European health
- health determinants;
- health interventions and systems;
- health policies;
- the demography of European countries; and
- cross-cutting health themes (such as Children's Health and the Environment).
Acting as a platform for EU public health project results, it aims to serve policy makers, other professionals and interested citizens. EUPHIX
is funded by DG SANCO within the framework of the European Community Public Health Programme.
