The Carework Network is sponsoring a one-day conference to bring together researchers, policymakers and advocates involved in various domains of carework. The overall theme for the conference will be, “Care, Conflict and Resilience”. Using ethics of care, conflict in care, and resilience as central themes, this year’s conference highlights work that seeks to understand:

1. Issues in caring relationships and ethics of care;
2. Conflicts in the provision of care at multiple levels (state, institutional, organizational and interpersonal); and
3. Sources of strength and resiliency in carework.
